i noticed that the area where the orange bars appear there is some cream starting to show, its getting more intense and this is how it happened last year, gradual creaminess then an explosion of orange over night
I know the male is receptive,im sure if he could he'd headbob a gecko he's that keen
Only hope that the female will accept him,oh and i figured out why last years eggs went full-term and died.I frequent a watermonitor forum and eggs are a big disussion point, and sure enough up cropped the full term dead eggs of water's,a few of them were willing to experiment with eggs at different temps and humidity levels and it seems, and i cant stress that enough, that if humidity is too high then for whatever reasons the eggs developed then died shortly before the hatch date. There was talk of c02 levels and o2 levels varying as the eggs grew but it all started getting way above me
But i do know this, last years incubator was a new homemade venture of mine involving a tank,1in thick polystyrene and an aquarium heater. It was very humid and i lost all but 2 gecko eggs (2 out of 45 eggs)so im binning that contraption and going for a design by one of the water monitor keepers.
sorry about the rant,im bored and my camera needs more batteries.
