Need Help ASAP with my RT Boa...

pspguy Mar 10, 2004 06:07 PM

Okay, I'm waiting for the vet to call me back. Quizno has been soaking for about 2 days since he's about to shed. I just went to check on him and his entire head is underwater. How long can they hold their breath? I don't want to mess with him because I know they should be left alone while in the shed, but I don't like his head underwater..

When my boa soaks I have never seen her with her entire head under water. You might want to chek on him just in case. Please post a follow up on what happened.

check him over well for mites if red tails soak excessivly you could have mites check him over well they will look like pepper floating in the water. He may just need more humidity. But his head should not be under water completely
