Are my tree frogs alright??

TANZEE Mar 10, 2004 06:10 PM

I have 3 large tree frogs and 2 small tree frogs. I've had them for a few months and they are in a 50 gallon tank with about 6 inches of bark on the bottom of the tank, a large water dish, plastic plants on the walls for climbing and hiding, jungle vines, and lots of logs and little places for them to hide. I did have a waterfall but I recently removed it. All they do all the time is lie around. I know that they are not supposed to be as active as some species (for instance my fire bellied toads are almost always on the move-don't worry...they are in seperate tanks!)- but is it normal for them to lay in the same spot for like 2 or more days!? Sometimes I worry about them.. If anyone has any info please let me know. Oh, and also, they change colours from bright green to like an olive green. Do you know what that means?
