I got it on trade at a reptile show here in KY and the guy I got it from said it was a KY corn. Said it was just a "normal old corn from here in KY", he didnt say whether it was CB or WC, and sometimes I think the way it acts, it may have been WC.
I was kind of skeptical of it being a KY corn, but it has a low blotch count like the corns here in KY. I know that doesnt prove anything 100%.
Im now wondering even more if it is a KY corn. James Blair came over thursday and we sexed all my snakes, well turns out this corn I thought was a male, is a female!! The snake may have been WC and the guy assumed it was a male. But being a female is good news in itself.
As far as the orange coloration goes, they are pretty variable here in KY and Phil has taken some pics that pretty closely resemble this corn.
As far as being 100% certain this corn is a KY corn, would maybe do a genetics test on it. But Im not gonna pay the money it would cost to prove it is a KY corn. I dont plan on breeding it to produce offspring, so I guess it is no big deal.
I will just have to take the guys word as it being a KY corn.
