i am getting a new blue tegu. he is about 16" full length and beautiful. i have his cage set up already. it is 6'x3'x3'. should i go for something smaller for a smaller animal and let him grow into the bigger cage? he has cypris(sp) mulch as a substrate, a large hiding spot and an active uv heat bulb set up for basking. i have done all the proper reaserch including searching these forums but if there is anything else i should know, please share. i will post pics when i get him and he is eating well. thanks and take care.
