breeding problems with over agressive male

hawiiangecko Mar 10, 2004 07:11 PM

i've got an over agressive male that i'm trying to breed with my 2 females but he doesn't seem to be interested in breeding, only agression and not the natural agression that comes from breeding. does anyone have an idea or a comment for me?

You should seperate him from the girls ASAP. I have seen cases where the male has bit chunks out of the females tails. My suggetion to you is to get another male.

Good Luck,

Matt

not only bits of tails...
look what my male did to one of my females!!! the whole dam lip was ripped of!

but i am also happy to say that she is ok now 2 month after. and she is actually almost completly recovered!!!
but I warn you what can happen if you have an over aggresive male, my aggresive male has now retired from breeding, i don't whant him to hurt any of my females again
