breeding?

mistysprouse Mar 10, 2004 09:12 PM

is the male usually on top? that seems to be what I notice in most peoples pictures. I got a pair and don't know which is exactly the male, but I have a good idea (he is the smaller of the two and is usually on top when they breed). I know how to sex, but I don't have the probes at the moment so I can't check him. I am interested in selling him, so any thoughts would be great.

Reptiles in general do funny things when it comes to that stuff. Probe the snake. Don't sell it just because you found your two snakes coiled together and you believe one to be a male.

And males don't have to be on top. In fact, with BP'sm they are usually at the side. But they wrap their tails around the female's tail. Its easy as pie to see.

don't worry I wasn't going to sell it without being sure, I can't afford to give away a good girl, not with my albino male growing up. I was just wondering.
