Corn getting ready for it's first shed!

Meb Mar 10, 2004 09:31 PM

I picked up my dear little Caoimhe today and noticed her eyes had gone blue and she's looking a bit peckish. So I just want to know if there's anything specific I should do before she sheds. I just fed her on Monday and will try again in a few days, but I guess it's normal if she refuses it since she's getting ready to shed? And should I be careful to handle her less, try not to stress her out? I still don't handle her that much as is, still waiting for her to get completely comfortable. And typically how long will it be before she does shed?

Her humidity is at about 65 and her temp's 85. Anything I need to prepare for? Just want to make this a pleasant experience for both of us. Thanks in advance.

Don't feed until she sheds and soak her for a few mins 10-15 appox.. every other day they shed easier if they have been soaked.
