Swelling in Argus leg

AragorntheArgus Mar 10, 2004 10:45 PM

What is it? I bought a baby argus a month ago and now i'm noticing swelling of the limb on his right rear leg say from the hip to the knee. Does anyone know what it could be? I have all the proper lighting and supplements

it could be something as simple as shed skin stuck and cutting off circulation, to something more drastic like mbd, not enough calcium etc.

Your best bet is to see your vet. about a diagnoses and for treatments. On here all you will get is opinions, and opinions on an animal we don't even see. All we go by is swelled leg which is not alot to go on.

Good luck with it.

My buddy's salvator had a similar-sounding ailment, and it ended up being phosphoros deposits, and calcium was the solution. Something to consider.
