So do Candoia need a supplemental heating source such as a heat pad? Or is just ambient temps good enough? Will a spot lamp be okay?

Mine prefer the cooler side of the enclosure, but I have a lamp to keep the air temps up to about 80-82 on one side. It's chilly here in RI.
