I got a bunch of butterworms with my mealworm order that came today....of course i put out worms for everyone and now looking at the tanks, theres butterworms everywhere......they've escaped the bowls. LOL. Dot was all excited, going after them, but the others are sitting back watching the worms...Guess i'll have to do a clean sweep of the tanks. I've already caught and put back worms into the bowls like 5 times now and with 8 tanks its a bit of a pain. Anyone got any suggestions? The bowls are glass, and deep, almost to deep since the geckos spend the first few minutes trying to get to the worms *through* the glass...

So far no eggs yet and the new girls are all doing very well. I finally named the two other ones, Bell and Bubbles. I'll get pics as soon as i can

I'll be hand feeding the butterworms...its not a big deal for the tanks with just one gecko, but my 40 gal has 5 girls, and its bad enough just dumping the worms in the dish, they all come running....I need 5 hands LOL

I hand feed my gex and beardie when I get butterworms, there to much of a hassle to leave in the tank. Just try dropping them one by one infront of the geckos, it works pretty well.

Lol Red you stole my girls names! Bubbles and Bell are the name for one of my leos and my female fat tail! LoL so your leos like butterworms? Maybe I'll try...hmmm. That's all I had to say!

Bell just seemed to fit, she reminded me of Bell off Beauty and the Beast. Bubbles....well she's a bit *different*. Seeing as i work with developmentally and physically challenged adults, its hard for me to consider her deformed or anything of the sort, but she does have ALOT of extra skin (despite the fact that she's fatter than a few of my other geckos) and she can puff up the bubbles under her arm pits at will. I'm not joking....all ya have to do is freak her out (my face staring at her first thing in the morning is enough LOL) and those pouches pop up like balloons. She also has a weird eye lid on the left side. Its not the BUG eye thing, just looks different but she can open and close her eye just fine. I won't ever breed her, just keep her as a pet, she's so sweet i couldn't pass her up.

P.S. yes my girls like butterworms, however it took Nala a few minutes to actually get one in her mouth hehehe, they are more slippery i think especially dusted.
