two lizards in same habitat?

bsteph Mar 11, 2004 05:09 PM

Amazingly, our younger al appeared yesterday after escaping in December.

Can we put two lizards together in the same terrarium? How large must an al terrarium be?

-How old are they
-What gender they be
-What size they are
-Also temperment of each one, it sounds weard, but ive kept manymanymany allis in my 14 year life, and they do have personalitys sometimes...

They should be big and old enough to sex, and you should only keep a 1 to maximum 3 ratio of males to females. The males have a large triangular head, and females have a sort of skinny head, males are more tempermental, will bite more often(females still bite, though) and a twenty gallon should do for 2 lizards. also, babys sometimes eat each other. Good luck
