The vet may remove the entire claw (minus the quick) to allow a new one to grow in. She said (after I described the situation to her) it sounds like Ra might have a broken claw. It shouldn't be a big deal though. The vet will also give Ra a complete physical (I'll ask her to trim the rest of his claws and to show me how to do it myself). I'm not worried at all, Ra is in good hands with her (she owns a uromastyx herself) .
