alterna X guttata ??

elaphe4herps Mar 11, 2004 07:04 PM

I was just wondering if an alterna (river road locale with lots of gray) has ever been crossed with an elaphe guttata? I am interested in trying this but if such an animal exists, I would love to see some pics. If anyone can point me in the direction of such a project, that would be great.

Thanks in advance, Wes Spinks

I would be breeding a male Riv. Road grayband with a snow female corn btw.

Don't know what was used for the attached pic. Bought in 1992 as a Corn x's Alterna. Could have been Blairs phase used? Snake was a female and laid 25 eggs for me with a couple good and I couldn't get good fertility from her. I sold her to a friend and he got 45 eggs in 1 clutch from her. They were tiny lizard size eggs. Only 2-3 hatched. Weird genetics as far as the number of eggs concerned. She wasn't a pretty snake but was a great feeder. Good Luck.
