around 1-2 months depending at what size you got them. Dont have spaces in between your lines, it is really annoying. ask on the feeder food forum.

You're getting on to him for using spaces?? *geez* Personally, I like them - I can separate the message from the signature much more easily, rather than it looking like a bunch of gobbly gook!

I'm glad this isn't a communist forum "different opinions cannot be tolerated".

Brandon, sweetie, I think I speak for some, maybe most of us, when I say that you post to much. We all know your 11 years old and getting a leopard gecko. Wahoo. I think you may be thinking to much. For one gecko, 500 crickets is obnoxious. And I think you wanted 5000 mealies one day too. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I'm young, 15, and can relate. I think you should wait a year or two, or five, before you get head over heals. I understand your excitement and wanting the best, but honey, you're overdoing it. We all try to answer your questions about mealies, and food storage, but you keep posting. Its like a bad dream, it's never ending. I think it would be most suiting for your mom to take you to the pet store every week or so, and buy mealworms or crickets in weekly installments, not in increments that will last a gecko colony years. You say you're getting one gecko. Your house will be overrun by feeders soon. I know where you're headed next. No you cannot store 500 pinkies in a shoebox either. Like I said, I really don't mean to be mean or rude, but its getting annoying. Buy a book, research online, and I commend you for being concerned, but please, take it down a notch.

I don't know if Im more concerned about him buying 500 crix for one gecko or someone named Michael calling someone named Brandon sweetie... that and both parties are under 16...

Please email me with your full name and address. I would like to send you a complimentary copy of "The Leopard Gecko Manual" by by Phillipe de Vosjoli, Ron Tremper, Brian Viets, and Roger Klingenberg, DVM.
I can't be sure, but it almost sounds to me like you are trying to research these things in order to convince your parents to let you have a Leopard Gecko. This is great. I wish everyone would do their research before getting a new pet. But, I would like to suggest looking up some of the information you need in books, the library, internet sources, as well as various care sheets available on many websites rather than relying solely on this forum to answer your questions. It may not be the best, but here is a link to the caresheet from the Golden Gate Geckos website:

Brandon, you should take Marcia up on her offer. Also keep doing the research. Go ahead and ask questions. If people think your are being a pest they don't have to respond. I also believe you are just trying to get the info you need to care for a leo. There is alot of info out there try to read as much as you can. Also take your time. If you truely want to give the proper care that means alot of responsibility. A pets life is truely in your hands and that shouldn't be taken lightly.

Ya, you're very helpful and nice.
Oh, and about that post "I" made ealier on this thread... I need to explain. My older sister is home from college on spring break and is quite the pest. I never feel like signing offline, so she likes to detroy my online life. She knows I'm practically obsessed with this site, and decided to piss me off.
Yeah, so I'm sorry in that sense. I told her the story of how Brandon was being a bit cautious, so she read up and did this.
Brandon, and anyone else. I'm sorry for this ordeal.

A few weeks ago bblackmon19 posted the same topic twice. I tolled him not to do it and I thought Marcia was calling me a troll for telling him not to do that. She posted under my message to stop being a troll. Later I asked her about it and she ment to call bblackmon19 a troll and not me.
I don't know if she remembered that incident, so that's why I said this was the troll.
Sorry for the confusion.
Matt
This kid was posting and posting and posting, and arguing and arguing, and being a general smart a$$. I made a response to it, but posted under Matt's post instead of the intended one. The the entire thread got deleted, so I couldn't go back and make a correction. Matt, you are most certainly NOT a troll!!!
