what did you use as your substrate? soil?
It is organic potting soil (contains no additives) which contains soil, sand, vermiculite, and perlite. I think my uro would dig in it more if it wasn't for his sore claw. I'm taking him to the vet on Monday to get it fixed.

Ra is quite the looker! I really loved seeing your setup. It helps since this is my first Mali and I can do all the reading I want on Uromastyx but it really helps to see pictures to get ideas. I have mine in a 30 breeder. She is currently on a strictly sand substrate. I need to make burrows. Mine currently doesn't have that feature and I've been noticing that shes trying to dig... Not getting too far but she is trying to dig! I am going to Home Depot and working on making her a burrow tomorrow.
