please advise of correct scientific name for bearded dragsons...questions..

.. i'm looking some names up, i think pogona barbata is correct? they are regular bearded dragons, regular phase.
what is pogona minima? how do i know the difference? thank u! -k

The one most people have as pets is Pogona Vitticeps if that is what you wanted to know.

There are eight species of Pogona:

Pogona vitticeps

Pogona mitchelli

Pogona microlepidota

Pogona minor

Pogona nullarbor

Pogona minima

Pogona barbata

Pogona henrylawsoni

Well, if it's in the United States and you own it, It's either a vitticeps or a henrylawsoni. henrylawsoni (rankin's) only get 12 inches long and have a noticibly different pattern. The other kinds of BD's were never really 'exported' (smuggled?) into the US.
