I personally have someone come by and check on all my animals when I'm away, even if it's just for a weekend. I have two cats and my mom comes by to tend to them. While taking care of them, I have her check my snake cages to be sure they have water and the temperatures are all right (no bulbs burned out, etc.). My best friend (also a snake nut) is basically 'on call' for her if anything needs to be done that mom either can't or isn't comfortable doing. Even if someone does no more than check on the water bowls, I'd have someone I trust come by just to be sure. This is especially true if your Candoia are small as they can easily dehydrate if the water bowl is empty.
