Prickly pear fruit?

Sohni Mar 11, 2004 09:01 PM

Can someone tell me how often is OK to feed prickly pear fruit? I know too much fruit is bad for a Med. tort, but does that also apply to prickly pear?

Prickly pear fruit is no different than any other fruit. I would think that it should be fed as sparingly as any other fruit.

That's what I figured. Just as well, they're a little hard to find around here, and I don't want to keep swiping them from Luther Burbank's garden, lol. They do freeze really well, though.
