Tarantula help

Well the aracnid forum is pretty dead but Im sure some folks around here own tarantulas and can help me. Im being given a tarantula, it has a cage and everything already but I just need some basic care info. They do not know what kind it is, they caught it in Texas when it was about and inch long and it is about four inches I think. Any help you can give me is great.
