A nine month male that is ready to breed???

beardielover13 Mar 11, 2004 10:04 PM

I am lizard sitting someone else's bearded dragon for them while they go on vacation. It is a young male from 2 of my adults. It hatched out mother's day 2003 and is already showing signs of head bobbing! Is this normal? It is in a totally sepsrate room from any other lizards, so he can't see any females. Thanks.

Perfectly normal behaviour Males tend to mature faster than the females do..... that is pretty much the same thoughout the animal kingdom.

Well, actually........

Human males reach sexual maturity before females. It is the MENTAL maturity that the males are wayyyyyyyyyy behind on LOL

Yeah, well you know, I couldn't just sit here and read those comments without saying something chauvinistic (even though I'm really not)!

BTW, how many women does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
