She wasnt eating so shes on meds and baby food. Didnt realize baby food dried on corner of her mouth and she didnt like it. She rubbed corner of her mouth on rock and its a lil red and starting to get raw. What do I do? Let it heal on its own or treat the sore she made?

Thanks

I've spent $250 in the last 2 weeks on Rex. He has dried baby food on his lips too, but I don't want to stress him out to get it off. I don't know how you could treat it, especially since it's so close to her mouth. You could wash it out with a warm damp cloth, but I would put any disinfectants that close to her mouth.

Hmm, I'd just keep an eye on it, and if it doesn't look swollen, or get worse, it'll probably be ok.
Yeah, use a wet tissue or paper towel, and wipe it off--the stress will only be momentary.

If it doesn't look well, a bit of neosporin ointment would probably be safe.
