My baird female was pretty skinny from laying eggs last year and brumation so I have been feeding her 3 small mice for the last 3 feedings. This is her after her third wanting a fouth.

Tim Gebhard at Vivid is calling them Metallic ratsnakes. Check his site. I like the name. Very descriptive.

I saw that yesterday by chance. It is pretty descriptive. I call them "Baird's" or "bairdi". Whatever they are called...they are such an awesome snake! Appearently they are Elape bairdi now? lol
