Hi,
I posted a message several days ago with questions about ovulation, I believe I posted in error because I have not witnessed ovulation.
My question is that a female of mine has been breeding since mid-late November. Currently she is exhibiting what I would consider an odd behavior. Instead of her being coiled up like a typicl BP (typical for her anyway) she has been since laying spreading herself out quite a bit. She has been laying in more of an S shaped pattern and is taking up much more space while laying out (I relate this to how she and most of my other BP's position themselves after a big meal). Another thing that I have noticed is that she appears to almost flatten herself out width wise.
I have not noticed any mid-body swelling (ovulation). I am just curious why she seems to be behaving like this? Can anyone relate to these signs and is it some sort of clue of good things to come (I hope)?
I also live in the northeast, and have been told that it still may be too early for ovulation here (not sure if that is true or not).
Thanks
