Ok well i stayed up all night and i think im going to try and get a rudis chameleon in the next couple of months after i read more about them.
Be careful. Most rudis are WC and have a host of problems. You're almost always better off with a CB. That's a really important factor. Perhaps a Ch. ellioti, if you could get a CBB animal, might be better. They're quite tiny.

P.S. I didn't mean to imply that ellioti are "easy" or a "beginner" species. They're not. But I think they might be better than WC rudis. Also, don't think that live bearers are easier than egg layers. That's another myth.

If i got one i would get it from my friend who will have some baby rudis chameleons pretty soon.
Do not, under any circumstances, take a baby less than 16 weeks old. The mortality rates are simply too high, even for an experienced keeper. And livebearer babies seem to be even more delicate than egg-layers.

Well my friend has had them for many years and he will raise them until they are old enough for me.
