Cecil is so weird. When he eats, he sucks in his belly and usuallly he straightens his back legs so it looks like he is on stilts.
None of my other dragons do this.
BTW, he only has newspaper under his bowl to catch food, he's a slob ..
He loves to poop paint too

No, it's not bad at all. I use Duck shelfliner in his tank. I just put newspaper under his bowl because Cecil makes such a mess.

Maybe a bowl with a lower rim like a saucer would stop that behavior. That is if you want it to stop. Dorks are not bad

Nope, the bowl doesn't make him do that. He does that when he's eating crickets of the floor too. It's just a weird eating thing he does..
He's a unique dork.

He definately does eat, I usually put veggies in the bowl 2x a day.
Maybe he just doesn't want me to see he is belly hang down while he's piggin out. Hmmm. maybe I'll try that method.
