I've got an 18 month old, 3 foot long Florida Kingsnake who got out of his cage on Sunday (thanks to a less than attentive house-sitter) and he's nowhere to be found. I've turned the house upside down looking for him, but he's probably curled up somewhere I can't access.
I called an "Animal Removal" service, who suggested I tie a mouse by its tail to attract the snake, who will then be trapped after eating. My biggest concern is that whatever I use to tie the mouse will harm the snake, or the mouse will chew through it and get loose.
If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!
