Went out today and found the following:

eucalyptus grove: slender salamanders, arboreal salamanders, ensatinas

dense, sandy chaparrel: side blotched lizards (mostly blue males, must be their year)

I have noticed that the sideblotched and sceloporus do not tend to overlap territories... was wondering if anyone has heard of any studies about this? thanks so much
