Viv waterfalls RIO pump question...

tkavan01 Mar 12, 2004 01:25 PM

is a RIO 90 strong enough to pump water up about
16 inches, i'm making a waterfall that comes from the top of the tank and plan on having the rio down in the false bottom...
also is flow rate on the rio adjustable? i looked on a bunch of websites but could not find any that gave this info...
i've heard it was but i am looking for confirmation before i buy, thanks for any help...

The RIO 90 will pump upward about 36 inches, so you are fine with that. The flow is adjustable. The RIO's snap apart for easy cleaning, which some others don't.
