Do your bloods soak in the tub when it's time to shed? one of mine do... more

Out of my three bloods, my big female black blood soaks in her tub everytime its the day to shed.My humidity is 80-90% for the two weeks she show signs of shed, but still would rather sit in the tub. Also she'll take a big doo doo, so actually it is nice, she has no problem shedding, and I don't have to clean out the cage.I wish the other two did this.

My two usually soak in their water dishes when they are about to shed, but not for very long. I usually take them out and let them soak in the bath tub so they have more room to swim around. Which gets me wondering, does anyone think it would be ok to soak my 2 foot blood and my 3 1/2 foot Borneo at the same time? I would be there watching them of course.

It would probably be best not to- mainly because water is a wonderful way to share parasites. That being said, certainly some people seem to do that without obvious problems, but given the amount of fecal matter that often ends up in the water I wouldn't.
