I've been changing frozen bottles in there throughout the day, at night the temp in my room drops so the tank does too. ANd when its cold outside i leave my window open, but i live in florida so its only cold when teh sun goes down. The bottles have been working pretty well though. Where did you get yours from? I ordered mine through Ward's.

I'm glad to hear things are working for you. My Axolotl is a gold albino baby; he's only about 4 inches long right now. I got him at Pets Plus, a very large pet store in Lockport. They sold both albino and wildtype axolotls for the price of $14.95 each (I guess they didn't want the adult size to scare people,) but personally I can't wait till this guy gets bigger.
