ulvirys Mar 12, 2004 07:24 PM

Hi,
I was trying to offer my cham. waxworms for the very first time and he either does not recognize them as food or just ignores them thus, I end up lossing all of the waxworms since cham. won't eat them. Does onyone know of the way of offering waxworm to a cham?

Hang a cup in his cage where he can see it and place the wax worms in there. This should work and you can just leave the worms in there without worrying about them escaping.

I put mine on leaves and they go right for them... I've never had a cham not like them.

Hi-

The waxworms IE fat sacks are good only for adding verity to your chameleons diet, so don't buy them in to big of numbers. We have found that the movement of the waxworms seems to attract the chameleons to them best. Try placing the worm on a vine near the chameleon where he/she can watch the worm move. Hope this helps!
