feeding time

jsc230 Mar 12, 2004 09:09 PM

Hello,

I couldn't find this any where in the archives. So, I feed my new leo everynight at 9pm. Now, heres the question, do I leave it in for only 45 minutes then remove it? If he eats nothing do I still take it out so that he learns to eat when the food is provided?

I've had Leviculus for 2 weeks as of tomorrow. He has shed and his tail has gotten fatter. (I think it is a she actually 4-5" and no male parts.)

If what you are feeding him is crix, you can leave those in there over night. You and me are about on the same feeding time. I just feed before bed then look and see if there are anymore crix that didn't get eaten in the morning and I put them in the cricket cage so they don't dry out and die that day.

Also, I take the back legs off of the crix I put in with my females because they were all brought by my hand feeding and dish feeding. So they are very fat and lazy. This keeps the crix from running twice as fast and jumps ofcourse.

Thats all, Austin
