Have you tried trying? Most kingsnakes aren't notorious for being picky. If you give him a f/t mouse, he'll probably eat it.

My first snake was a kingsnake. Still have her. I think she was always on f/t. There's no real trick to kings, they're really simple. Feed em, give em water, have a nice warm spot for them to sit in and they do great.
I have 8 colubrids right now.

Cool, how old is she? n what breed? yeah i hope there simple, i have had my Desert Phase King now for a lil more then a month and he seem's to be doing quite well cept for the constant escape attempts, lol, but umm yeah i have a heat padded side n the cool side wit a rock resin hide on the warm end n the same on the cool, (i wanna change to a habba hut i read that rock resin isnt the greatest is this true? what type of hide if i may ask do you use for your KingSnake?)but the Hypo Brook's is a lot older then my Desert phase King so when i first got him he had a lil bitof a nasty disposition which i quickly got him off of now hes a softie just like me( Ie Nice Guy)but im just worried about one thing basking...R KingSnake's big baskers? but other then that i think im doin not too shabby for a first time Snake Keeper! at least i Hope n THink So, lol n e who lemme go thanks for keeping up wit the posts def appr manny thanks.Mike. She's a 4 year old blotched female. (oops, don't tell everyone what a 'newbie' I am, hehe). She's about 3 feet long which seems small for her age but she's pretty healthy. Her favorite hide is actually a habba-tree, she curls up under the base. She's got a few inches of aspen in there, she's a pretty hardcore burrower.
Everyone's doing ok here, except I have a baby black russian sand boa I can't get to eat. They're basically like greybanded kingsnakes except from the other side of the world, they can prefer lizards. Oh yeah, and one of my skinks died. Poor little skink. She had a bit of a tough time. I'm still sort of in denial about that one. Other than that, I've got up to 4 species of sandboas breeding, with another species slated to start breeding in May. Also, I've stayed up too late watching cartoons again. But I like seeing the giant robots fight.

HEy friend, Many thnx on the advice, worked like a charm, gave'em two small pinkies last nite, THeY wolf'ed down like there was no tomorrow, Many thnx,i have some other Q's if you can spare the time to try to answer them, Hope u will, well ok here goes, i have done alot of research on the net, i mean alot! and most of the info i have absorbed has told me not to house two King's right beside each other? something about sweet glands? that they can smell coming off each other? i mean they have to stay in my room n e way, might as well put each tank side by side so they can say hello to each other?(plus i love watching them try to figure one n other out) i would appericiate it if you can tell me if i need to keep the tanks further apart? what is your expert advice? i'd apperciate it,Yours truly Mike.S.

You should not house two kingsnakes together because kingsnakes think other snakes are a delicacy. And it's not even cannabalism, because they're two different species. It's not certain one would get eaten, but the risk would be too great for me.
Snakes generally ignore each other on the other side of the glass. I have four 10 gallons lined up in a row containing:
a small boa, a timor monitor, a king ratsnake and another king ratsnake (king ratsnakes are also reptile eaters) and everyone completely ignores each other. Pretty funny because if I put them in together it would be a bloodbath. Well, you get the idea. One exception is bearded dragons, who go nuts at the sight of a snake.
