UTH question

i know that if my house is at 70 degrees and im using a 8 watt under tank heater its not going to heat my tank up to about 88 degrees what watt do you recomend [10 gal. tank]

I don't recommend getting a ZooMed pad unless you get a thermostat to control it. They get very hot and can be dangerous. Spend the extra 4 or 5 bucks and get a 10-20 gallon T-REX pad. They are designed to warm your tank 20 degrees warmer than room temperature, so they don't get outrageously hot. Plus they are better assembled and they are much more safe for your reptile and your house. ZooMed pads are just too unpredictable.
