leave sparklies on your hands?????? I just finished putting it in my girls humid hides (40 gal tank) and now i have sparklies all over my hands....Its kinda silverish and has added some nice colour to my carpet as i spilt some LOL. Is there differing types of vermiculite? Did i buy the wrong stuff?

Nala is in shed, theres skin just hanging from her....it took her a few minutes but she figured out i put the humid hides back and is now laying in one..hopefully the skin will all come off, i've never tried anything but moist papertowels.

Red you amuse me. LOL yeah it's shiny stuff! Why, well I don't know. I have it in my humid boxes, but Bower (my male AFT) spent the first week digging and throwing all the vermiculite OUT of his new box. So I made him a bigger one, and now life is good for my lone boy. Sorry, I ramble. I just woke up LoL.

Thankyou I thought for a moment that i bought the wrong stuff and would end up with silver coated geckos LOL. Now i live to amuse people...so i'm happy that you find me amusing. I try to lift peoples spirits and put a smile on their face as much as i can...life is to short to be misrable all the time right!?! If i can make one person smile and feel happy a day, then i think i'm doing a darn good job. Granted i have my bad days when i need someone to give me a smile, and perhaps a hug, yes i'm a hugger LOL (but only to people i know...LOL) I'm so jealous, i want an AFT...going to be looking for some at the April show up here....i can't wait!!!!

I think i'll get a huge box and fill it with vermiculite for Bronx, maybe that will help him out. He's such a pill these days...and my hands are in bad enough shape (dry, cracked and bleeding) without having him bite me LOL

I need to post another string....got a few more questions lol, i'm just full of them this morning
