Help My leo is vomitting.

roxygecko Mar 13, 2004 09:19 AM

My leo is vomitting and regurgitating her food. She is still defacating a small amount. This has been going on for at least three weeks. She was seperated from her cagemates because she was not eating her appetite returned but she unable to keep food down. What might be causing this and what can I do to help. I tried warm water baths, increasing the temperature, is there anything else I should do before bringing her to the vet.

Most likely it's a parasite. Sometimes they can regurgitate if they just eat too much for a meal, but if it's happening repeatedly, then it's most likely a parasite.

could be a parasite or a blockage, either one needs a vet, especially if the warm bath isnt helping (for blockage)
good luck!
