Hey there everyone! I have started designing my next enclosure and was brainstorming for new ideas that could possibly be worked into it. I am thinking things like a drainage system that works like a toilet. Just flush it all down a drain and then it automatically closes and refills. Other ideas like a self leveling pond that fills itself when the water level gets too low. An integrated surface skimmer to remove the protein build-up that forms on the top of the water. And indoor enclosure is what I have in mind so I was thinking about a pit that has sand and straw that can be covered or open depending on if it is breeding season or not? If anyone has experimented with these ideas, or has any others that could be integrated in, please let me know!
