One quick question about MBD.

beardielover13 Mar 13, 2004 10:39 AM

The lizard I am watching while the owners are gone seems to gallop when it walks. It isn't a huge dragon. I produced it and then sold it to these people. I gave them a food sheet that listed what they could feed it. How much calcium it needed at different ages. It is 14.5 inches at 10 months old. His sister is 17 inches at 10 months old. Now for my question. What are sypmtoms of MBD? Can you fix them yourself if you catch it early enough? Yesterday, I gave him some calcium straight with water. Any answers would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

The most obvious early signs of low blood calcium (which could lead to mbd) is lethargy and twitching toes(usually in the rear feet).
