These are my questiones that I need answered before I purchase my BP.

* is a 50 gallon tank Going to be big enough for my BP even when it is grown?

* Should I feed my BP alive, fresh killed or frozen then thawed rodents?

* Do I need a light for the night time?

* Should I use newspaper as a starter bedding for a captive bred BP

Plenty

* Should I feed my BP alive, fresh killed or frozen then thawed rodents?

My order of preference: FT, FK, Live

* Do I need a light for the night time?

Only if it's too cold.

* Should I use newspaper as a starter bedding for a captive bred BP

I use newpaper because it's easy, cheap and clean.

I wouldnt put a baby ball python in a 50 gallon tank. I have heard they can become very stressed out if the tank is too large. Maybe start with a 20 gallon then move up to 50. Just my opinion
