Yes. especialy when they are young. Just don't over do it. They normaly eat crickets or other bugs when they are young. You should be feeding it fruits: grapes, strawberries,etc. Greens: Collard greens, romaine lettuce, etc.. Hibiscus flowers, grated squash, calabasa, & carrots. A little at a time. They become mainly vegetarian as they grow older but will continue to eat some animals.

I fed a few weanling mice to my adult gravid C. similis, for the calcium content. Luckily, she reabsorbed the eggs.

Yes! They can when thaey are growing.
