Kingsnakes generally enjoy the same temps as we reactively,
Day -mid to low 80's night all the way down to low 70's but allot of folks keep them at a constant 78 to 82 with the variant attributed to changes in room temp..... Hides you only need two
One on the warm side (with the heating pad) and one on the cool side ---- for neo's or baby's I use half coconut shells that I cut in half, or used paper towl tubes ,for 2 and half foot plus I buy the super big dog water bowls and cut a hole in the side for entry, this is a great idea I got out of a book by Kathy and Bill love called the
"Cornsnake manual" -great book! Everyone should give it a read
Goes into entry level genetics with plain and simple terminology, -----,

I totally disagree- I have 2 Cal Kings fed once a week that lay in 85-88 all the time and love it- digests food quicker- of course they have a choice 75 if they want it at the other end- but if you keep it at a max 0f 80 or 82 they will not digest, eat or grow as fast and big. Some of these so called experts are full of it-not you, but others.
