Hey everyone, first. I have an RES about 3-4in. He is in a 55gallon tank, I dont know what to do with this tank. It is so BORING to look at. What are people using as substrate in their tanks? I have corkbark in for backing, but it's so bland to look at. Any suggestion would be helpful.
Okay, I was looking thruogh forums of late and noticed one posted by my brother. I revieved 3 RES from Arts of nature last August. (DONT ORDER FROM THEM!!) Anyway , I kept one, I gave my brother one and I gave my cousin the last one. Mine has thrived and my cousins has thrived. my brothers has not. this was his q. Why? someone replied that his turtle was fine and the other was overfed. I just want to point out, not one turtle is being compared but two. There is something wrong, I dont know what. but rather than appease him I would rather people offer valid explanations. just my two cents. If you are gonna post in reply to someone either get the facts or dont answer. you could be putting other turtles at risk. No offense to anyone just what I believe to be COMMON SENSE! I admit my turtle is spoiled but hes not obese. and my brothers is the size of a freakin' quarter, the exact size he was 7 months ago. I dont think thats "healthy".
