Was wondering if Dumerils make good pets. Are they aggressive? When grown do they have to eat rats or can they live on adult mice?

My brother has some dumerils boas. They are good tempered for the most part. I hold them all the time and never get struck or hissed at by them. They eat rats once they get to be over 5 feet. Hope this info helps..
