I've been debating between the 48X24X12 or the 48X24X17 boaphile models.

Is there any advantage that the 48X24X17 model has besides a larger view area?

I will probably not place a shelf within the cage. I'm debating if it is worth spending the extra $90. I'm trying to save money, but at the same time don't want to kick myself after purchasing the 48X24X12.

If anyone has experience with the two models, your opinions will be greatly appreciated.
