So here is where im at with a leo gecko..

Ive posted alot in leo forum just thought Id see what is goin on here as well maybe I can learn something new.

Leo gecko, had her for 3-4 weeks, shes about 3 to 4 months old. She came home with a great appetite chomping about 3 to 5 crickets a night, life was good. Then no intrest in food, lost lots of weight. Snotty looking poos with alot of pee. Tried mealworms, no intrest, threw them out and got another batch of crickets. At this point she hadnt eatin in 3 days and was looking terrible. Posts I read said it sounds like pinworms or something get her to the Vet. So I did, no fecal to take because of no eating. She was at the Vet on Tuesday. Vet says shes got great skin color, clear eyes, mouth looks good..lets go with panacur for a week, .05cc daily. So thats what Ive been doing along with peach baby food until lastnight. I thought lets go with panacur treatment and no baby food and 2 crickets for the night. She didnt eat so I fed .03cc of banana baby food this morning. Cpl hours she pooped it all out. At least thats what it looked like. So tonight Im not doing panacur or baby food and a cpl crickets to see if she hunts tonight..

Heres what Ive been told this far, panacur treatments daily may be too much. (Vet wasnt an expert but best I can get where I live) Was told no more peaches and bananas get chicken or mix a recipe up (which they had) or powder and water mix at store.

Will she just one day decide hey... I want a cricket, and I do this until then, or do I assume at this point shes rid of parasites due to the heavy treatment of panacur and she will now start to get hungry?

Also she has a 20gal long, moist hide and cool hide. She lives in moist hide day and night. I just mist it once a day and im sure it dries out in several hours. But she sheds great. Warm side temp in day around 85 to 95 outside here moist hide and 85 to 88 in moist hide on surface. At night a red bulb and moist hide stays about 75 to 80 and area around hide is about the same.

Water dish fresh daily calc bowl she could care less about in there 24/7. Crickets are dusted before I feed and I even leave a lil mixture of cricket food and calc in a dish for them to munch on as they pass by in tank.

Im feeling really hopeless but Im fighting to either the end or the begining.

Thanks in advance.

Well... if it's really as thin as all that, I'd keep up on the assist feeding. The lizard should hopefully just decide it's hungry one day, you could try crickets every other day or something. But it just might need more strength before it feels like eating. I've gone through something similar myself, I know it's not fun. But it can work!
