Only 3 eggies out now, but about 4 more to come. Have to go to bed and deal with it in the AM. Crazy snakes. No pre-lay? What's up with that? LOL!

My girl has been laying in strange positions. She's been laying on her side off and on for a few days, sometimes even belly up. I keep checking her thinking she's dead or very gravid but, she's fine and doesn't "feel" gravid to the touch...her ventral scales are rather flat. LOL! (She is housed with a male, has been all winter.) So, maybe it's just the time for these girls to do weird things, huh?

Yeah, they all lay upside down this time of year!

The one in that picture, looks just like mine!! LOL!! I'm not a ball python fan. I don't really like them, as I don't like "fat" bodied snakes in general. I just ended up with this pair as rescues. I didn't know it was "normal" for them to lay in odd positions and it's been a little freaky. LOL!!

Thought I felt 7 eggs, but there was only 6. She wasn't a terribly big female (1700g), but ate like crazy during November and December. It was awesome.

Wait until I show you what happened though. Just getting the pics and making sure I see what I think I see.......
