I bought him at a Houston snake show in 1994. From a California dealer - he was about 9-10 inches. Since then I have never put him with another snake - that is one of the secrets to longevity in a King! Never bit me once - IMHO these true breds are the best pet snake ever. He just lays in your lap -never wiggles or tries to get away- It is amazing. Aggressive eater on large mice and rats.Always keep temp at 85 or 87- In Houston that is not hard to do. Lamp always.
