Do the 11'' and 3'' heat tape sizes generate different temperatures and is there any limit to the length of 11'' tape you can use safely, and do you guys prefer to use the connecters or to solder the tape while installing

check out bean farm. 25 feet of 11 inch can be used. And for the temperatures you should use a thermostat or a rheostat.
