hey everyone....ive notice how everyone is saying u dont have to have a big cage/enclosure for ur bbs.....and if u have too big of a cage u should have lots of hide...well what im wondering is, what if u have to small of an enclosure....because i have some balls and not sure when i can get around getting another cage for them...they r like 8 months old...appox...im thinking 250g-300g and i got them in a 18'x8'x6.....and figuring once i get the new cages they r gonna be like double that size(600g hoping or more) and still in the same box....so what do u guys think....will they be cramped up??? any ill effects???

you have multiple BP's in a cage 18" by 8"? that is so cruel! hatchlings need a bigger cage than that. You should have each of the BP's housed SEPERATELY. And BP's can and enjoy squeezing into small spaces. My 18" BP squeezes into a 6 inch terra cotta flower pot base and will probably be able to until it gets to around 30".

too small for one BP that size in my opinion. My guy is about the same weight and age and I can't imagine him in a 10 gallon (which is bigger than what your size is). Ill effects - yes: stress, illness, vet bills....

I'd make new cages a big priority...not when you get around to it. Young BPs usually like to climb - 6" isn't allowing that. Not allowing much room to move at all. I am glad to hear they are housed separately. You can find tanks cheap at yard sales, classifieds, etc.
